and I am sitting in my computer chair doing this ....
Because I have no idea how I am going to start this lol.
I have been planning this blog for sometime but I have never taken seriously starting one. I have a lot of opinions and not a lot of people who are willing to listen to them. Lol. I started re-reading Insight by Jamie Magee and I decided I finally needed to start it. Having a place to share my feelings about the books I read is going to be awesome. I'm not much of a writer and I have a lot of random thoughts that jump around all over the page. Sometimes there will not be any reason that two thoughts are in the same paragraph but oh well. I am going to enjoy expressing those thoughts whether a lot of people read them or not. There are not many people that read as much as I do. This blog is going to let me rant and rave or throw things (virtually of course). As well as do a whole lot of FAN GIRLING!!
Do not worry there will be none in the actual reviews ... well maybe some
And now to the books ...
I love re-reading books. There is no reason that you cannot enjoy the story again and again and again. The only thing better is to have the excuse that there are new books that came out in the series. Recently I have started the process of catching up with the Web of Hearts and Souls series by Jamie Magee. I read through most of them but now I have some new books in the series that I must catch up on. This huge series has, so far, 14 books. Also so far it has 5 within the whole series. Right now I am re-reading Witness . Here is the amazing cover.
Synopsis From Goodreads.com:
Forgetting who you are is hard, but not as hard as remembering. Remembering That You have no idea how to face your demons, how to save the lost.
Charlie is at a sacred threshold.
The 'glass box', as she calls it, is slowly falling. Her childhood has ended. She Has yearned for the moment, the moment where she can go and do anything, anything at all without seeking permission is now. She'd dreamed of this time, all of her friends had, but Now That it's here, she does not know which way to run, or if she should even run at all.
Charlie Knew That would be running a goodbye forever, and she did not want that, she wanted to freeze the time she was in, to stay in the calm before the storm, the illusion That She Could the ones who seek out with her, hold the one she loves, and play the music That Gives her passion. She'll soon discover no one can hide from Their fairies, That Time does not stop in place, and That Whether she chooses to perceive it or not, the darkness has come.
What Charlie feared most, losing him, blackberries is a threat now than ever. A realm, a dark and twisted dream world Has called him, and now she must fight to save him, and others like him. Standing in her way is a soul from another life, a boy That promises That he will destroy her world, to save her life. With this threat in hand, with the dark path That her friends are on, Charlie must fight to find a way to leave, to trust That dimension beyond her there are souls That can help her, help all of them. The only question is, will she find them before it's to late, and if she can not, how is she going to use her gift, the gifts they all share to save them.
Witness is the second book in the series EEA. Read through number five here we come. I am continuing to love it as much as the very first time. Willow and Landen's story will always have my heart but there is Also a spot for Draven (and Charlie) :-)
This book is just absolutely amazing. From start to finish.
Draven is fighting His Own demon and Charlie Has to be strong enough to fight for them both.
The new characters are a great additions and add to the plot in great ways. I do not want to say anything that will give it away .....
JUST GO READ IT!

I am in no way a fan of love triangles. There is nothing in a book that will make me angrier than the heroine being helplessly in love with more than one person. The point of soul mates is that there is only one of them. There is only one other soul that can complete yours perfectly. Some books say there are "epic loves" and "soul mates" while having two possible love interests...btw that makes no sense. To me there really is no point in putting it in the books. It does not add a single thing in my eyes. All it does is make it confusing for the heroine and puts me into a rage! I hate it and I hate the books that made it popular to write about them.
Anyways I guess that was my first rant .... hehe ... back to the books.
I guess the point of that was Jamie Magee might have two love "interests" but it is not a love triangle. They have loved each other in the past but they were not completely IN love with them. The love felt was in different life times and represented different things. The other soul mate and the other love interest was never the same in life .. until now. So I really cannot complain and I really do not want to. The stories are just heart stoppingly amazing. She explains the difference between the relationships so clearly you can do nothing but believe that they are different. There is no doubt in my mind that the lives lived with each love interest were different kinds and that the heroines soul belongs to only one and was still yearning for their other half. Without ever really knowing it. NO MATTER WHAT!
Witness is in no way the first book. authorjamiemagee.blogspot.com Go to for all of her books and a great reading order if you plan on reading all of the series Within the big one. She Also Has this amazing contest going on for anyone who Has or Has not read her books.
