Sometimes sugar isn’t so sweet and secrets can be deadly...especially with matters of the heart.

Sienna’s bestie, Harper warned her not to intern for famous bad boy artist, Casper Mason. After all, he just fired Harper who helped Sienna get the interview. But the moment Sienna sees Casper—or Caz—sweaty, practically shirtless and swinging from chains as he works on his sculpture, she’s hooked.

He’s the richest, hottest artist in New York, and he lives in the fabulous Williamsburg Sugar Factory. But he’s also an incorrigible game-player, who seems to relish testing Sienna’s loyalty with a string of unsettling tests. She knows she should get away fast.

But by the time Sienna sneaks into his locked storage room and begins to unearth his dark and terrifying secret, she’s fallen way too hard for the handsome, charismatic Caz.

Kitsy Clare started this love story with Model Position. We get the first look at Sienna’s love story with Erik. Now is Private Internship Sienna is out of college and looking to get an internship. Her best friend, Harper, gets her an interview with the famous artist that she is currently interning with. Now we follow Sienna as she navigates a relationship with a man that has secrets he is desperate to keep.

Sienna and Harper thought it would be fun to internship together. Never mind it is with a good looking famous artist but he also pays really well. When Harper gets fired for sneaking around a locked room Harper begs Sienna not to take the job. Sienna doesn’t listen. When she gets there she is immediately tested and keeps getting tested until something changes. Sienna starts to fall in love with Caz. Desperate to figure out his past she breaks into the same locked room.

Sienna was a fun character. She didn’t let anyone walk all over her. She gave Caz a piece of her mind whenever it was deserved. She didn’t let him visibly intimidate her even if inside she was intimidated. Sienna was also pretty funny. She had a great sense of humor and she knew how to have fun. She also has her own issues that she is trying to overcome. Sienna suffers from OCD because of her past and now her art is suffering as well.

Casper Mason is famous. He is god looking, arrogant, and playful. Caz likes to play games and test the different interns that come into his studio. Until Sienna walks in and calls him on his games. There is something different about her and Caz is determined to find out what it was. Caz was a great hero. He was suffering and temperamental but you could tell there was something more going on. He had a sweet, caring, swoon-worthy sign that we saw peeks of until the end.

Each character in this story has their own problems and issues that they need to overcome. Sienna, Caz, and even Harper. Private Internship follows Sienna and Caz as they help each other become better people. Helping each other to stop hiding and move on in their life and their art. Kitsy Clare creates a story that was easy to read. The story was well written and the flow was prefect. Kitsy created characters that actually grow in the book. They go through an emotional growth by themselves and as a couple. I would definitely recommend this book to other readers!
