Sullivan and Will are as
close as two friends can be. Growing up in the system forced them to rely on
each other, and they've become accustomed to sharing everything—including
women.
Now they're ready for more.
To find love. To start a family. To see the dreams they've shared since
childhood come true.
Apparently I tick off every
box on their list—brains, beauty, and sass. I never hesitate to put both men in
their places—which they find sexy as hell.
One problem, I'm a
traditional girl, with traditional values—one man, one woman, till death do us
part—kind of values.
They're willing to work to
prove how very right the three of us could be, but what happens next is
anyone's guess...
*Review*
Let me
start by saying this is my first Ménage romance book. I went in with an open
mind and no expectations. I am the type of person that HATES love triangles so
I have avoided these types of books even though I know there is a different. I
finally decided to give a three person romance a chance and I am kind of glad I
did.
The
characters were each interesting. Adrienne is the center of this relationship.
Adrienne grew up in a very strict household which doesn’t really show in her
personality. For her to even consider this type of relationship shows that she
has an open mind that you don’t see a lot. Will is the Alpha. He is the stereotypical
brooding silent type. He doesn’t share his feelings often and doesn’t talk much
but he is caring and you can tell. Sullivan is the more open hyper of the duo.
He wears his heart on his sleeve and is very open with his feelings.
This
story is a good way to bring you into the world of ménage. The characters were
flushed out and the writing was fluid. The story was told for all three
character’s POV, which can make it easy to confuse the reader, but Lola
Leighton did a great job. Each character clearly has their own personality and
they don’t blend. One of the only things I had a problem with is the time lapse
in this book. The book isn’t very long but the story line spans years. It doesn’t
really make much sense to me and I don’t feel like it worked. I liked the story
anyway though.
