Review
Eleven
Weeks is a story about friendship, family, love, and about believing in
yourself no matter what. Eleven weeks is the second book in the Crazy in Love
series it is a standalone and takes place at the same time as the first one. This
book follows Kate’s wild friend Stacey.
The
book opens up and we already have met Stacey and know she’s kind of crazy and
wild but this book lets up get into her head. We finally get to understand why
she acted the way she did. My heart was absolutely broke for her and I just
wanted to give her a huge hug. Stacey had a lot of self-esteem issues that came
from her life at home. It was sad to see her be down on herself all of the time
but she also had a lot of spunk. She had a fire that even her home life couldn’t
get rid of.
Michael
was a great leading male. He was always there for Stacey and was always trying
to help her see what everyone else saw when they looked at her. He was a sweet
character and I absolutely loved him. He was the boy next door type that could
also pull off the sexy rocker. He was perfect, for the story and especially for
Stacey.
There
were some really emotional moments that were tear inducing. I mean it was boarder
line ugly crying. The story was balanced though. There were laugh-out-loud
moments and some that made me completely swoon. I can’t wait for the next book
in this series!
