Librarian Callie Barnes has visions of reading and relaxing--and maybe having a few too many drinks--on her girls' weekend away. Her hopes are crushed when her friends pull into a dude ranch instead of a spa, and she refuses to say longer than one night. That is...until she realizes the ranch is owned by sinfully sexy, and dangerously rugged, Wes Braden--the subject of her late-night fantasies.

Fearless rancher Wes Braden thinks he's the luckiest guy on the planet when the sweet, sexy librarian from his hometown shows up at his ranch. Their connection is white-hot, making it impossible for either to ignore their carnal desires. Wes is more than willing to convert sweet Callie from chick lit to a world of erotic romance, but Callie ties sex to love, and Wes avoids commitment like the plague.

Callie is thrust into physically demanding activities that ignite her deepest fears. Luckily, Wes is as tender as he is strong, and he's there every step of the way to help her find her inner strength. With Callie's influence, Wes might even discover that he's been nursing a few fears of his own. Passion pulls Callie and Wes from their safe, comfortable lives into each other's arms, and they're about to find out just how alike they really are.

My Thoughts…

“When she kissed him again, she felt as though she’d loved him for a hundred years, and when he tightened his grip on her, she wanted to love him for a hundred more.”

OK is you have read any of my previous Love in Bloom reviews you know how much I love Melissa Foster. This book was no different. It was just as amazing as the other books that I have read in the series. It was a romantic and sweet addition to an already amazing series. Talk about soul mates. This book will make you believe in them all over again. You have Callie the shy, quiet librarian who watches the same man, Wes Braden every Thursday. She is too afraid to talk to him so she lets him star in her X-rated fantasies and is content to have him stay there. Wes Braden goes to the library even Thursday. He is a ladies man who has never looked for more until he meets Callie and he can’t figure out why all of a sudden he wants more.

Callie is shy, quiet, and pretty much afraid of anything outdoors. She is content to stay at her apartment with her books and the fantasies of one man she sees every Thursday. Her best friends want to break her out of her shell so they lie about a spa weekend and instead take her to a Dude Ranch to break her out of her comfort zone. She agrees to one day. Until Wes Braden asks for more. She wants to try. Try to face her fears. And try this new thing with Wes. Callie is such a strong character. I really liked her. She put herself way past anything she3 was comfortable with and tried to face the fears that were holding her back. She is also very caring and loving to animals and her three best friends. I loved that her character is shy and quiet but she has her moments of confidence. She can bring it out when she wants to. It made her character more real for me. Plus it was nice that there was a character that feels the same way about books that I do.

“He looked at her for a long time, then whispered, “I want you, Callie. Just you.” She closed her eyes at the words. You have me. All of me.”

Wes Braden is a ladies man. He has never been on a date. He doesn’t do relationships. He can’t seem to figure out why he goes to the library every Thursday to see the new library assistant. Sure she’s attractive but he feels something more and he doesn’t know why. Until she shows up on his ranch for a weekend of outdoor activities. He is going to take this weekend and get past his own fears. I loved Wes Braden. He was so sweet and patient with Callie. He was always encouraging her to try new things. Things that she never would have tried anyway. He didn’t push her badly but just enough so that she could see she could do it. He was a closet romantic too. He did such thoughtful romantic things for Callie. He was so freakin’ swoon-worthy. He might be my new favorite. I’m not sure. Melissa knows how to write a swoon-worthy guy so it is hard to decide.

I think this was one of my favorites. This book was like the definition of soul mates. Callie and Wes complimented in each in the best possible ways.  They really were like puzzle pieces. As always Melissa Foster’s writing was great. The story flowed really well and you could really feel what they meant when they said it seemed like they had been together forever. When I was reading the book it felt like I was reading a relationship building in years not days. The detail and emotion was great. Again Melissa didn’t go the huge drama root which I really like.

This book was amazing and I think every book in this series needs to be read! Especially this one!

“I want to be your happily ever after.”
