REVIEW: Untamed (Vampire Awakenings #3) By, Brenda K. Davies

Man or Monster? Ethan has been fighting his monstrous urges whenever he’s around humans, something that his family doesn’t seem to have a problem with. Ethan and his family are all pure bloods. Which means they were born vampires not turned. Ethan decides to take a vacation with his sister and her brother-in-law. It makes him wonder if he will ever find his mate with the way his life has been going.

While on vacation Ethan meets Emma. A sweet and shy girl he has an immediate connection with. She is also the one things Ethan has been trying to stay away from most of his life, a human. They begin a very complicated relationship which get even more complicated when Emma’s ex shows up. Tristan is even worse than he was when Emma and he broke up and now Ethan might have to turn into the monster that he has been fighting to become, to protect his mate.

Untamed is the third book in the Vampire Awakenings series. The books can be read as a stand-alone but they are all companion novels following the same family. I have read Awakenings but I have yet to read Destined. Brenda K. Davies creates another well written story about hot immortal vampires finding their mates and protecting them at all costs.  Ethan goes through a very hard time. He thinks he’s the only one who has trouble not killing humans but he soon learns the power of finding his mate. Emma goes through her own struggle with her crazy ex and when she finds out what Ethan actually is. Emma has a choice to make in this book. Their feelings for each other are the only things that can’t be denied but she has to decide to act on them. If she does, she changes and they are together forever. If she doesn’t, she destroys him and he becomes the monster he never wanted to be. This was a great book and now I am definitely going to be reading the second book in this series!
